Staffing

We would love to have you on staff! Staffing Sun Camp is a volunteer position, and is incredibly rewarding. Our staff is mostly comprised of former Sun Camp participants. If you didn’t attend camp, but have a connection to Sun Camp or the Shambhala Mandala and wish to apply, please reach out.

Staffing Sun Camp is an extension of the core principle of camp, which is taking care of one another. For staff, this takes on the weight of serious responsibility. Camp supervision and creating a safe, decent, and cheerful environment are of the utmost importance to the Sun Camp leadership. Along with this comes the demand of practicing egolessness to transmit the genuine heart of warriorship that is Sun Camp’s real treasure.
